You can enter more than once while the contest is open by purchasing additional entry packages. Each order can contain one entry package, with the number of photo entries shown on that package.

Yes. The contest is limited to 1,500 entrants and may close early once all entrant spots are filled.

Yes. You can enter multiple times and enter for multiple prize options, but each photo may only be submitted once. If the same photo is entered again, any duplicate submission after the first will not be judged and will be void and ineligible to win.

Each package includes the number of photo entries shown, a private upload page with Entry Saver™, and Camera Champ publications access for the listed period. Every eligible photo is considered for your chosen camera gear prize and possible publication in Camera Champ Collective.

You can submit up to the number of photos included in your entry package. To enter more photos, simply purchase another entry package.

Entry packages are not refundable if you change your mind, do not submit your photos, do not use your access to the library of photography publications, other included benefits, or are not selected as a winner. Yes. Entry Saver™ lets you pause and return to your entry before final submission using your private link. Once submitted, photos cannot be changed or replaced.

You can enter photos of almost any subject or style, including landscapes, wildlife, portraits, travel, street, sport, architecture and more, as long as you took the photo yourself and it meets the contest rules.

No. The contest has an open theme, so you can enter photos of any subject or style. You are also welcome to submit a themed collection if you wish, for example: several bird, car or landscape photos, provided each image meets the contest rules.

Your photo can have been taken at any time. Recent images are encouraged but they are not required.

Yes. General adjustments such as cropping, colour correction, exposure changes and light retouching are allowed. Heavily manipulated images and any AI-generated or AI-added content are not permitted.

Yes. Previously published photos are welcome, provided you still hold the necessary rights and the image is not subject to an exclusive licence or other restriction that prevents its entry or publication by Camera Champ.

Yes. You must have taken the photograph yourself and hold the rights needed to enter it and allow Camera Champ to use it under the contest terms.

Yes. People may appear in your photo, provided it was taken lawfully and respectfully. You are responsible for obtaining any permission or model release required for Camera Champ to judge, publish and promote the image. For an identifiable child, permission must be obtained from their parent or legal guardian.

No. Please submit your photo without watermarks, logos, text or decorative borders so it can be judged and published cleanly.

Photographs are judged anonymously using the published criteria, including creativity, composition, storytelling and photographic impact. Anonymous judging means that judges do not see entrant details or camera equipment details. The judging process is recorded for auditing purposes.

Each photo is assessed on creativity, composition, storytelling and overall photographic impact. Expensive gear and technical perfection are not required.

Entries are judged by the Camera Champ team including John Allman, a former military photographer with the Royal Australian Air Force and current Getty Images photographer, together with selected guest judges.

All photographs are judged anonymously against the published criteria, and the judging process is recorded for auditing purposes.

No. Judges assess the photograph itself against the published criteria and do not see the camera, lens or other equipment used during judging.

Judging takes place after entries close, within the timeframe listed on the relevant prize entry pages and in the contest Terms and Conditions.

Finalists are selected through anonymous judging using a consistent rating system based on the published criteria. The highest-rated eligible photos are then reviewed and checked against the contest rules before finalist status is confirmed.

Up to 120 photos may be selected as published finalists, including the 1st, 2nd and 3rd place winners. The final number may vary depending on the quality and number of eligible entries received.

Three overall winners will be selected: 1st Place, 2nd Place and 3rd Place. The 1st Place winner will also receive the camera gear prize option they selected and entered for.

Results will be announced on the date listed on the relevant entry pages and in the Terms and Conditions. They will be shared on the Camera Champ website, Instagram and Facebook, and by email to subscribers.

Winners will be contacted directly by Camera Champ using the email address and/or phone number provided with their entry.

Camera Champ will make all reasonable attempts to contact a winner using the email address and/or phone number provided. If the winner does not respond within the claim period stated in the Terms and Conditions, the prize may be forfeited and offered to the next highest-rated eligible entrant, subject to applicable law.

No. Judges’ decisions are final and cannot be appealed simply because an entrant disagrees with the outcome. However, concerns that the contest rules were not followed or that an administrative error affected the result may be raised with Camera Champ for review.

The 1st Place winner receives the camera gear prize option they entered for. Separate prizes are awarded to 2nd and 3rd Place, and selected finalists may be published in Camera Champ Collective. Full prize details and values are listed on the relevant entry pages.

No. Only the first-place winner will receive a complimentary copy of the publication featuring the selected photographs.

Yes. Once your request has been received and confirmed, Camera Champ will remove your photograph from future digital publication and promotional use. Printed copies already produced or distributed cannot be altered or recalled.

Yes. Camera Champ treats your personal details as private and never sells them. Limited information may be shared with authorised service providers, such as Shopify, payment processors, email providers and competition administration services, only where necessary to process your purchase, manage your entry, provide included services, prevent fraud or comply with the law.

No. Your private entry page is not publicly listed or visible to other entrants. It can only be accessed through your unique entry link, so keep that link private and do not share it with anyone.
