Terms and Conditions

By entering the Camera Champ Collective Photo Contest, you agree to the following terms and conditions:

1. Eligibility

  • Open to residents of Australia (excluding NT, SA, ACT), residents of New Zealand, residents of North America, residents of the United Kingdom.
  • Entrants must be 15 years or older.
  • Employees, affiliates, and immediate family of Camera Champ are not eligible to enter or win.

2. Entry Requirements

  • Theme: Open.
  • Entry is free: submit one photo per entry.
  • Entry limit of 5 per entrant per month.

Photos Must

  • Be taken and owned by the submitting photographer.
  • Entrants confirm their submissions don’t infringe any rights and agree to indemnify the Promoter against related claims.
  • Be original and not AI-generated. General image editing is acceptable.
  • File formats: JPEG, PNG.

3. Copyright & Usage Rights

  • All submitted photos remain the full copyright of the photographer.
  • By entering, you allow Camera Champ a non-exclusive, royalty-free license to showcase your photo/s solely for the purpose of promoting your work and the contest. This may include use on the Camera Champ website, Camera Champ social media (e.g. Instagram & Facebook), email newsletters, or Camera Champ digital or print publications.
  • We always credit the photographer and only use your photo to highlight your talent, never for resale or stock use.
  • You remain the owner of your work at all times.

4. Judging & Prizes

  • Three winners (1st, 2nd, and 3rd place) will be judged and selected at the beginning of each month by Camera Champ staff based on creativity, technical quality, and overall impact.
  • Prizes are in Australian Dollars and are non-transferable and cannot be exchanged for cash.
  • All prize packages are emailed to the recipients.
  • Each entrant can only win one prize per contest.

5. Email Subscription

  • By entering, participants are added to the Camera Champ email list.
  • You may unsubscribe at any time using the link provided in our emails.

6. General Terms

  • Camera Champ may disqualify entries that do not meet these terms.
  • We may request proof of photo ownership and capture date.
  • We reserve the right to change or cancel the contest at any time.
  • Notable entries may be featured in future promotions with credit.

7. Limitation of Liability

  • Camera Champ is not responsible for technical issues affecting entry submissions.
